BGMK fitted to Sewage treatment works at Trowbridge
The first BGMK (manual klean filter unit) has been installed at a Wessex Water Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in Trowbridge, UK.
The unit was installed to clean STW BioGas for a small single engine. The filter contains sufficient media to last 3 months before needing to be manually regenerated on site. The filter contains the same media that is used in the automatic regeneration installed at the landfill site in Humberside, UK.
Bill Cowing, Director of Sales and Marketing commented “This installation, following the earlier BGAK at Humberside, will confirm our filter units capabilities in treating STW BioGas”.
“ Releasing this unit to the market will allow our customers to cost effectively treat BioGas for smaller installations, gas flows and contamination. It is important for PpTek to widen its range of capability in this market”.
BioGas Filters are available now to treat gas flows from 75 m3 / hr to over 2000 m3 / hr, cost effectively treating Landfill and STW BioGas.
