PpTek move to new factory
PpTek have moved to a new factory in a nearby business park at Yapton, West Sussex.
PpTek have recently moved into a new 2000 sq ft factory to cope with the increasing order flow and to be able to keep up with demand for its filters.
Moving to the nearby village of Yapton from its base in Middleton -on Sea will allow PpTek to execute assembly and test procedures, on its filters, prior to delivery and installation at customers sites.
PpTek’s Director of Engineering, David Hayward, commented : “Our business plan, during 2006, has always been to find a suitable factory to allow us to perform assembly and test functions on the filters. We have been very fortunate to find an ideal facility so close to our previous base at Middleton. Our ability for throughput, in the new facility, should match demand for the next 2-3 years”
Bill Cowing, Director of Sales and Marketing, added: “ We have seen strong interest and demand for both Manual and Automatic filters since we successfully completed the trials last year. The new factory has come on-line just in time as we see demand growing in both the UK and Europe”.
